HOW TO GIVE YOURSELF AN AT-HOME SPA TREATMENT

One of my favorite getaways is a day trips to the spa. It’s a full day to relax, unwind and clear your mind. I recommend it for just about anyone. We all experience stress and we deserve a little break sometimes.

Spa days can get pricey. If I had the chance to go every week, I would. However, this is not realistic for most. Normally time constraints and budget limitations get in the way.

I have a few tips and tricks on how to give yourself an at-home spa experience. You know you deserve it.

How to Give Yourself an At-Home Spa Treatment

Bath and Ambiance
Many spas are known for their jacuzzi and hot tub treatments. At home, you can do something similar! Why not dim the lights, play some spa-style music, and help yourself to a warm oil/bubble bath? It may not be as large as the one at the spa, but nowadays, there are so many bath bombs, bath salts, etc. that offer such wonderful health benefits that it’ll totally make up for it.

Homemade Masks
Facial masks are all the rage. Charcoal masks, skin rejuvenating masks, masks that promise to reduce fine lines, masks that claim to tighten your skin… they have it all.

Did you know that many masks can be made in the comfort of your own home? With a little bit of research, you’ll find that you can whip some up with items you probably already have in your pantry.

Give yourself a break and enjoy an at-home facial. You surely won’t regret it.

Foot Soak
One of my favorite DIY treatments is soaking your feet in hot water with Epsom salts. It does my skin wonders and, it’s also a helpful way to treat ingrown toenails.

Manicure
You don’t have to go all out – pushing and cutting cuticles should be left to the pros. But I find painting my nails is a relaxing process. Plus, waiting for them to dry is like giving yourself an extended break.

It’s All in the Smell
You know when you step into the spa and there’s that comforting smell of salt water, eucalyptus, and massage oils? So relaxing!

Treat yourself during your at home-spa treatment with a diffuser! I love essential oil diffusers because there’s a large line of oils you can choose from. Of course, each oil has its long list of health benefits, so be sure to choose those that are best for you!
Sabai Diffusers are wonderful because they’re effective yet decorative. They give homeowners a chance to experience aromatherapy no matter what their décor style may be. I’m a huge fan of their wooden ones – they’re beautifully unique and really remind me of the spa.

You should take a look at all of their available oil diffusers and see which ones match your style most.

Have you ever given yourself an aromatherapy experience? Have you used oil diffusers before? Tell me about it in the comments below!
