Glo's Meditation Online Provides Mindfulness Opportunities

Meditation has become a popular way to help control stress and anxiety. It not only helps you learn to stay in the present moment, but it can also increase your self-awareness and promote emotional well-being. Many people don’t know where to start with meditation, however. Glo has created a place for meditation online, allowing people to gain the benefits of focused breathing, guided visualization, and mantras. They have more than 500 meditation classes available on all devices. Each class can be downloaded to so you can listen to them offline.

Here are just a few of the meditation classes available through Glo’s meditation online programs.

Gratitude and Forgiveness

The three-part meditation on gratitude and forgiveness is led by Kia miller. The breathing techniques help guide your awareness throughout your body and your mind, allowing you to tap into your feelings of gratitude. She will also guide you to emotional health by forgiving yourself and others. When you are experiencing a challenge with someone in your life, this is the perfect meditation for you. It lasts 20 minutes, so it is perfect for when you need a longer period of self-soothing.

Kia Miller focuses on bringing her radiant spirit to life throughout her meditations, yoga classes, and retreats. She has taught around the world over the past twenty years as she has both practiced and studied yoga and meditation. She loves bringing mantras, meditation, asana and the power of focused breathing to help her students go into the world with an uplifted and empowered spirit.

Before School

Before School is the perfect meditation for kids before they head into class, it is only ten minutes, so it is easy to squeeze in during the morning routine. It is a great class to do together as a family because you can sit and enjoy a moment together before you all go about your day. Jo Tastula leads the class to help your child prepare for school by setting an intention and to practice focusing.

Jo Tastula has more than 15 years of experience teaching and leading yoga and meditation, classes. She has devoted her training towards channeling energy into a life-affirming source. Through conscious breath, prayer, dedications, and intentions, she is able to teach you how to reflect more self-care throughout your daily life. Self-care is reflected throughout the everyday moments. She blends the healing arts of meditation with nutrition, physiology, and energetic bodywork.

Unraveling Knots

Today’s stressful world often leaves your body tied in knots and this is the perfect meditation to help you bring awareness to the places of tension within your body. MC Yogi leads this meditation through a guided visualization. He enables you to imagine water flowing over the different parts of your body, helping you loosen the tension throughout your shoulders, neck, hips, and torso. By relaxing through the pressure, you will attain greater focus, clarity, and a deeper sense of place.

MC Yogi has focused on bringing music and good energy into the world. He integrates hip hop with his yoga practice to create new sensations. He is a published author and musician. He and his wife were ambassadors of the first lady, Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move” Campaign. They have taught yoga at the White House, the San Francisco Asian Art Museum, and even the Smithsonian.

He also has another meditation through Glo’s meditation online platform called Hallways and Doors. The guided meditation draws your mind through the hallways of the senses towards the creative source.
