Hans-Jorgen Hansson is the Swedish creator and founder of EGGKIDS. He graduated from Forsbergs School of Design in 1994. He has been with IKEA as an art designer for 20 years. His goal was to create a product that would make someone feel happy when they saw it. His first character in the brand was Erik the Elephant. Since Erik, 25 other characters have joined the brand.
These fun characters can be found on a wide variety of products. To name a few, there are backpacks, coloring books, wearable blankets, soft toys, pillows, and bedsets with adorable characters on them. About The Blanket
The blankets are made to last for a long time with their double layered GOTS certified cotton material. GOTS stands for The Global Organic Textile Standard and means that this material that the blanket is made of has been held to a standard of world recognized requirements that make sure the products hold the organic process all the way through. From the picking of cotton all the way through to customer, these products are organic.
Our Experience
This blanket could not be more well liked in our family. One of our favorite past times is to cuddle under a good blanket and watch a movie, especially at the end of a long work week. With EGGKIDS blanket, I was not worried about it scratching my children or that they would not be covered comlpletely. This blanket is 31.5X31.5 inches and is the perfect size for not only my one year old but my three year old as well. It is soft and smooth and does not pick. It also has adorable characters that my children seem to love.
