Teaching Gratitude
As a MOM, I’m always thinking.. do my kids really understand GRATITUDE? Are they Thankful for what they have? Because I’m not sure if they are, to be honest about it. I mean they always say THANK YOU but do they mean and understand to be thankful. Just random mom thoughts I know but I really need my kids to know about life and what needs to happen. So Turkey on the Table® is a book & activity that encourages the whole family to express and display their gratitude. PERFECT, make it fun and they will do it, I just know it! 
Wouldn’t be nice if thankfulness was in everyone’s daily routine? As parents, we want to instill values in our children that help them understand and appreciate all of the life’s blessings. So this TURKEY has rules:
- Display the Turkey on a table-out in the OPEN!
- Each day write something you are thankful for on the feathers (provided)
- Continue to add a thankful Feather each day!
- On Thanksgiving READ everyone’s THANKS
- Remember you helped with 10 meals were provided to someone for the purchase of the Turkey on the Table®
- Keep the Thankful Feathers as a reminder of what everyone is thankful!
My daughter was so excited I had to stop her from doing all the feathers in one day! Geesh, slow down girl. But she writes down something every day before school. She has already told me she is reading them too on Thanksgiving. So if you want something fun or even give as a gift because this can be used next year too- order your Turkey on the Table® from HERE. They also have feathers you can order for next year- which we will be doing since my daughter really enjoyed doing this and guess what she is a TEENAGER so this is the best time for her to learn all about gratitude.
