Demeter Captures Every Scent Imaginable
Demeter wants to expand the use of fragrances to everyone, every day, and everywhere. Let’s face it, when we smell a scent that we love, or one that reminds us of someone we love, we smile. I think we can all agree that the entire world could use more smiles, which is where Demeter comes in.
Created in the 90’s
In 1996 Demeter made their debut with three signature scents sold in New York. Their name came from the Greek Goddess of Agriculture, and they wanted to capture some nature scents that they loved so much. And so Demeter and their first three scents (Dirt, Grass, and Tomato) were born. One of my most favorite scents in the world is freshly mowed grass, but due to allergies, I can’t sit outside and enjoy it. So for me, their Grass scent is heaven in a bottle.
Doughnut Worry
Do you love a good jelly doughnut? Being Polish, I love a good pączki (which is basically our version of a jelly doughnut.) Whichever one you prefer, if you love that smell, then you’ll love Demeter’s newest fragrance, Jelly Doughnut. This fantastic fragrance is blend of fresh grape jelly, doughnut, and sugary top. It’s yummy in a bottle. My husband loves it. He says it’s a great summery scent because it’s fruity.
Elvira
Okay, so when I hear the name Elvira the song immediately pops into my head. Demeter has three scents that are named after the woman herself. One of which is zombie. I do love some zombies so this scent is perfect!
Tennis Balls, Clovers, Swimming Pools and More
Demeter has so many one of a kind scents to choose from. Every day fragrances that you love. They have a Tennis Ball scent! I can remember being a kid and my parents playing tennis. I loved the smell of the new tennis balls! They have Swimming Pool, Kitten, Fireplace, and so much more!
