Delicious Cocktails Paired With Some Halloween Spirit

Throughout this year, we have had created quite the number of wonderful memories. So many celebrations have passed, but it’s not the end. We are indeed just a bit down the road from the end of the year. Right now, we are coming up on one of the most anticipated holidays of October. That’s right; we will be celebrating Halloween

When it comes to Halloween, just about everyone can’t wait the special night to arrive. Kids are going to get dressed up in their costumes ready to get some candy. On the other hand, parents can do a little something for themselves while the kids have their fun. Or maybe you want to throw a bit of a celebration as well. So if you are looking to switch things up, check out the information I have for you below.

Who Doesn’t Love A Tasty Drink

Finding the perfect solution to your drink search isn’t always an easy task. Most people are going to want something different. A drink or cocktail that they may want to try again after the first encounter. Take a look at these awesome recipes below:

Texan Morgue-a-Rita

Get a glimpse of the early days of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre villain: Leatherface. This terrifying asylum escapee is sure to make you shakenly reach for that ‘killer’ spicy margarita. Here are the following ingredients you’ll need for this cocktail:

  • 2 parts Tres Agaves Blanco Tequila
  • ¾ parts fresh lime juice
  • ¼ part smoky simple syrup* (Smoky simple syrup: Pour equal parts sugar and water into a saucepan with one dried chili pepper. Simmer until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let the mixture cool. Remove chili pepper and set syrup aside.)
  • Lava salt and dried red chili pepper for garnish

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain over fresh ice in rocks glass. Garnish rim with lava salt and add dried chili pepper.

You’ll Float Too

This cocktail is synonymous to that of the shapeshifting, demonized clown that continues to haunt our nightmares from the film “IT.” Here are the ingredients you’ll need:

  • 2 parts Maker’s Mark® Bourbon
  • 1 part sweet vermouth
  • Orange bitters
  • Orange twist, for garnish
  • ¾ part Campari (Campari Ice Cubes)
  • 2 parts water (Campari Ice Cubes)

Several hours before serving, mix together Campari and water and freeze in a square ice mold. When frozen, make the cocktail: Place 2 Campari ice cubes in rocks glass. Pour all ingredients over ice cubes and garnish with a wide orange twist. Stir the drink to start the ice melting.

Home Sweet Horror

This Manhattan is a classic recipe we all adore—then, a capsule of activated charcoal is unleashed, and the color is drained right before our eyes – kind of like what Grace’s face looked like in “Mother!” when an unexpected intruder disrupts the calm sanctuary she once called home.

  • 2 parts Maker’s 46®
  • 1 part Amaro Averna
  • 1 capsule of activated charcoal
  • 1-2 dashes Angostura bitters

Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Stir until chilled and strain over an ice ball. Break open a capsule of activated charcoal, and stir.

These just might be what you have been looking for to bring the big bang to your next holiday event. So go ahead and check out all the information I have for you above.
