What to Consider When Planning a Wedding

You should probably plan to start your wedding preparation about a year and a half before the big day! This may sound a little early to start any sort of preparation, but if you start early you will not need to worry, or doing any last minute changes because you have already explored every avenue.

This plan will include factors such as Deciding budget, your very first task will be to decide how much you are willing and able to spend on your wedding celebrations. In the early stages of planning your wedding you will have to do all of the time-consuming jobs such as creating a guest list, with a basic database application, you can store all the details of the people you wish to invite, in easy-to-retrieve format. Later, you can use it to record who responds to the invitations you send so that you have an accurate headcount to give the caterers.

Now you’re only 10 months away from your wedding here are some important tasks to do, planning your honeymoon, something that both you and your partner are really going to enjoy is planning where you go for your honeymoon. In addition to spending relaxing evenings leafing through brochures full of exotic destinations, don’t forget to make sure your passports are up to date and that you have all the vaccinations you need. Another task for you to do this month would be to organize your wedding transport, whether you fancy a stretch limousine, a traditional Rolls-Royce or a fleet of minibusses, now is the time to book your wedding day conveyances.

With just over 12 weeks to go there are some more important jobs for you to do, Scheduling the events that are going to take place on the big day. Create a written/printed timeline for your wedding day and share it with your caterers, florist etcetera so that everybody is aware of what is happening and when. Finally, it is the week before your wedding, this is where you have everything prepared for the big day but now you need to sort out what you are going to pack to go on your honeymoon. If you follow the steps in this checklist, your wedding is sure to go off smoothly and, most importantly, you and your partner will be able to enjoy it to the full.
