Colored Pearls Make The Best Gift

Diamonds may be a girl’s best friend, but pearls may be the wiser purchase in 2017…and they’ll be seriously trending this spring.

Allure Magazine put it nicely when they said we are in the middle of a pearl renaissance. Everyone from Kim Kardashian and Lupita N’yongo to Kris Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner, Ellen DeGeneres, Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama are sporting the pearl look. And while 2015 was a record year for pearl sales – up 369% to be exact – it looks as though 2016 may have set the bar even higher.

This spring, expect designers to showcase pearl colors that go with the season – florals and pastels are very hot. Peach, pinks, shades of purple and gold will go well as the country starts to thaw, coats come off and sundresses go on! And these colored pearls make great gifts.

This multicolored freshwater pearl bracelet is a great example. Note the floral and pastel tones of each gemstone. And quite reasonably priced, too, at $89.

For a simple, classic look at an affordable price, gift some freshwater pink pearl studs. For something brighter, you can pair any spring ensemble with bronze, green or silver studs. For an even dressier look, try the pink freshwater pendant
that incorporates diamonds beautifully.
