CapaBunga is a company based out of Norther California’s wine country. They were initially in the wine making business but then they created their first wine bottle sealing product. Over the last 5 years, they have created a new product a year. This year is the ergonomic handheld corkscrew. Some other products that they carry are the Cheese Vault, Canvas Canteens and Canvas Flasks.
After 50 plus years of combined experience, Maire and Walt decided after being dissatisfied with nearly all wine related accessories, what better idea than to invent accessories themselves. They wanted to create products that were both fun and useful. Before 2011, they had spent most of their lives in the wine industry. While creating packaging for Napa Valley Red Wine, Rua, Walt thought of a different capsule that was reusable and made from silicone which is the same material used for bungs that seal oak barrels during the aging process. Thats when the name was created, CapaBunga.
Corkscrew
This design of the well known corkscrew, is ergonomic, fitting comfortably in your hand. It has a grooved auger and a Teflon coated worm. It is available in metal or with silicone handles in red, green, black or gray.
Canvas Flask by Tote + Able
The flask holds either 120ml/4oz or 240ml/8oz. They are made in the USA and are made out of cotton canvas. They feature rivets, grommets, and an aluminu carabiner which makes traveling easy. It helps to get rid of the oxygen inside to make the flavor of wine last. To care for the flask, all you do is rinse the liner with warm water and some dish soap. You may use a bottle brush. You can wash the exterior with soap and water and let it air dry.
Canvas Canteen by Tote + Able
These BPA free, leak proof air tight containers can hold 750ml/25oz or an entire bottle of wine. The makeup and care are similar to that of the flask except for much much larger! Perfect for traveling.
