BROTHERS

Have you ever just wanted to watch a movie, that’s down to earth and have no idea where you can find one. We just got done watching Brothers on sundancenow.com, and it was heartwarming. A movie about two brothers who it’s over the course of 8 years, by the mom. The very talented mom, excellent cinematography, makes you think about life and choices and family.

To us the movie hit home some, I and my sisters were like these two did everything together and grew up close. These two are jumping into lakes together and running around with capes and so much, and moms there to film it all. For them to look back and see themselves as kids is a great privilege and being told by the mom is even better.

They learn that its not always about winning a game, it’s about having a great time doing so. Everything that a child can think of to talk about, these brothers do. From death to having a great family and each other so that they are not alone.  Making snowmen together and haveing fun in the snow is always so much fun, I can remember sled riding with my sisters and the fun we had, granted they do fight like brothers will do but nothing major. Overeating sweets and then one of them dumping the water on purpose and refusing to clean it.

Mom tells them to be brave and go out and see the world; there is so much to see and do. As a mother you want your child to have a story of their own to tell, you also want to share your stories of life and growing up.

It’s a story that reflects how parenting eventually leads its practitioners back to themselves, as their children drift, however lovingly, beyond their sphere of influence.

For a great movie about two brothers, you need to see Brothers, on sundancenow.com
