Back to School Tips for Moms

This post is sponsored by Nature’s Harvest® Bread and Entenmann’s® Little Bites™ Snacks. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

It’s back to school season and you see all of these awesome tips for the kids, what about for the moms? Moms need back to school tips too! Without us, there would be no back to school. Am I right? Check out these back to school tips for moms.

Get plenty of rest

Although you may be trying to get everything done before school starts, make sure you get plenty of rest. Trying to function on little to no sleep won’t help anyone. My #1 tip for back to school for the family is for mom (and the rest of the family) to get plenty of rest.

Prep the night before

Hey, this tip isn’t just for kids, it’s for moms too. Get everything ready the night before. It sure does beat trying to scramble around in the morning to get everything done. Sometimes I even pre-make breakfast, so it’s one less thing we have to do in the morning.

Get the coffee ready the night before

Who can function in the morning without their coffee? I always pre-make the coffee the night before. This tip is so good; it needs its own paragraph. Mom: don’t forget the coffee!

Create a schedule for the family

My family loves this. Putting everyone and everything on a schedule helps things run smoothly. I don’t run it like a boot camp, but we have a laundry schedule and a chore chart. Trust me, this really helps keep everything running smoothly during back to school season.

Keep awesome snacks handy

Listen up moms, back to school is a super busy season. You can make things easier on yourself by keeping awesome snacks handy. I personally always keep Nature’s Harvest® bread and Entenmann’s® Little Bites™ snacks on hand. These snacks are a wholesome and nutritious way for my family to eat good on the go. I can tell you that these snacks are always the “Life of the Lunchbox™” in our household. Preparing for the morning school in the night itself can give a feeling of satisfaction to both children as well as moms. Anyways, thanks for the wonderful tips, Kelly! Good luck!

It's really important for both children and moms to be prepared a night before the school as handling all the things in the morning itself can be a bit difficult and chaotic as well. At least the things which can be done in advance should be done like making coffee and gathering all the school uniform stuff in advance. Preparing for the morning school in the night itself can give a feeling of satisfaction to both children as well as moms. Anyways, thanks for the wonderful tips, Kelly!

Nature's Harvest always has the best wheat read in my opinion. I wouldn't be surprised to see it as a recommended staple for student lunches!

My kids love the little bites. Seems like they come home with us every single grocery trip.
