Now we’re getting to the sort of trades that you’ll need once most of the home building is done. 6. Electrician
Again, don’t leave finding an electrician too late. If you can do it yourself, you’ll need to get the work signed off by an expert. Make sure you get your wires put in early, and put extra capacity in the walls to future-proof your build.

The last thing you want to happen is to put all the hard work into building your home, only to find that damage has occurred due to a build-up in your gutters. For the finish you’ve been looking for, you’ll need a quality decorator. This is one step you might be able to do yourself, but make sure you do a good job.
