6 Thrilling Water Sports To Try Once In A Lifetime

For all the adrenaline junkies out there, and for the ones who aren’t, let me tell you something you already know, water is super fun, and if you haven’t experienced it the way I have, you are missing out on a lot already.

Remember, there is one life, make it count, don’t miss out on these adventures.

Below, I have rounded up my six favorite watersports that should only be performed under expert supervision or with experienced people around.

So, are you ready to experience that adrenaline rush through your veins? Ready, Set, Go!

1. Horse Surfing

Have you heard of this before? If you haven’t, well now you have. Horse surfing is an extreme sport that requires two people.

As the name suggests, there is a horse, and there is either a kiteboard, surfboard, wakeboard, or a skimboard attached to it.

The sport then requires one person to ride the horse, and the other to ride the board.

The horse is expected to run in shallow waters, where it can reach the speed of 40 miles an hour.

Go with your partner, family, or friends, and switch positions. Trust me, it’s a LOT more fun than it sounds.

2. Kayak Surfing

A sport that involves you surfing in ocean waves, kayak surfing holds quite a few similarities to conventional surfing.

The only difference is the surfboard used for Kayak surfing.

A kayak is designed in a way to propel the waves better, making the craft or sport easier.

The last decade saw a dynamic rise in Kayak Surfing. Look at it like another way to surf the waves, only better, would you go for it?

3. Snorkeling with whales

Who said that snorkeling with whales is a pleasure that can only be experienced in social media and documentaries?

There are locations, across the world, dedicated to this activity. Yes, you heard that right!

Imagine swimming around whales, how fun would that be?

Plus, it is super-safe, it is breathtaking, it is renowned, and now one of the most popular sports globally, why miss on it?

Before we head onto my other favorite watersports, gear up with a pair of reliable water shoes.

Water shoes will definitely give you a run for your money, and before you try any of the above or below sports, make sure you have them with you!

4. Underwater Scooter

This is an exhilarating piece of technology, and no matter what kind of a driver you are, you are sure to be enticed.

There are dedicated locations across the globe that offer you the service of underwater scooters, and my favorite among all of them is hands-down Maunalua Bay, Oahu.

One thing is for sure, you won’t have a parking problem? Would you? ;)

5. Sea Walking

If you are unsure about any of the adventures in this list, Sea Walking is probably the most simple, safest, and yet super fun sport you must try.

It is for anyone who walks and breathes.

That’s it, but this time you will be walking underwater, in the sea bed. Trust me, it is as mesmerizing as it sounds!

6. Snuba Diving

A sport that is gaining extreme popularity with time, the official site of SNUBA describes Snuba Diving as the perfect cross between Snorkeling and Scuba Diving.

How can someone not fall in love with it? It is one of the few experiences I honestly cannot describe in words.

You will use a regulator to breathe at the water surface, and at the same time, you will be enjoying the water three-dimensionally.

People have also said that this is quite similar to sea walking, but there is a lot more freedom as well.

Over to you…

Describing such thrilling experiences in words is difficult because no words do justice to the joy and thrill you will feel.

Everyone reading this must at least try 3 from this list because, after that, you will never be the same person again.

You will feel your every breath a lot more intensely than you ever have.
