My friends and I were just talking about our posture the other week at work and how we find ourselves all slouched down in our seats and humped over. I have looked for several ways to help alleviate back pain and give me a better back, but with most of my downtime and time slouched over in a chair being at work, I didn’t want to bring some embarrassing equipment or anything that would take up too much space.
I received betterback in the mail and started putting it to use immediately. Upon taking it out of the bag, I thought I could figure it out on my own but ended up referring to the 3 step pamphlet that came with it. The photos and short descriptions were so easy to read, and I had the betterback on comfortably within a minute. I can tell you its very comfortable once you get it adjusted to how you like it. Keeping your feet flat on the floor while putting it on is very important. There is an optional step 4 of pulling the clip to give a tighter grip which I like. The knee pads are padded so they are very comfortable and the part that actually rest on your back is padded as well. Once you put it on, its almost like you feel relieved and you can instantly tell that your posture has improved.
Being that I sit in my desk chair for a minimum of 8 hours a day and most days 10 hours, It is easy to put this on for 15 minutes a day, and I actually look forward to the time that I do have it on. Its not bulky or heavy and you wouldn’t even know you had it on if you weren’t sitting up straight because of it. I have passed this around the office and us girls now have a daily routine of what we like to call “betterback time” I am glad to be able to share posture and health with them, there is nothing better to share with your friends and family.
