While we were in Branson, we had the experience of a lifetime aboard the Showboat Branson Belle. We got to experience wonderful food, while watching one of the best shows I have seen, while cruising on the beautiful Table Rock Lake, what more could we ask for?!
The Showboat Branson Belle is a beautiful and this will be one of those unforgettable moments for Ronnie and I. Our dinner cruise included a 3 course meal and while we were dining we watched a variety of shows. This was my first time on a showboat and watching the sunset from the boat was splendid. When you board the Branson Belle, you will have your picture taken, then you will go to your assigned table and seat. We had time to look around the Showboat and take in the wonderful views. The dinner cruise was about 2 hours long.
When the boat actually started to sail, it was so smooth, Ronnie asked me more then once if the boat was moving, you could not feel a thing. The host of the first show was Christopher James, he was a comedian/magician and really awesome. I have to say when he took the stage he made everyone laugh so hard. I have seen some comedians and I didn’t care for them to much, but Christopher James was wonderful.
While we were eating we had the Showboat’s signature live band playing. For dinner we had, Slow-simmered Beef Roast and Honey-Dijon Glazed Chicken, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, and Sugar Snap Peas were served. As you can see from the picture it was a nice portion.
For dessert we had the most delicious Lemon Berry Ice Cream pie.
While we were watching the show, I ordered Hot Chocolate. This Hot Chocolate was truly wonderful and rich, almost like candy.
Another amazing act was the Showmen. They are a group of 5 men who sing, They are truly a remarkable act, their voices are astonishing and go so well together. The sang classic rock and roll, all american music and even gospel. They were wonderful.
Janice Martin also took to the stage, she is a Violinist, Aerialist, Pianist, Soprano, Dancer and Actor! She has AMAZING talents! I never saw a show like this before, she actually plays the violin upside down while she is dangling in the air.
We had a wonderful time aboard the Showboat Branson Belle and highly recommend this wonderful showboat.
