5 Tips for Multitasking

Who loves to multitask? I do! I love it when I can do more than one thing at once. The trouble is, it can be hard to multitask. If you’d like to make multitasking a regular part of your day, go ahead and check out these tips.

Rest when you can

I can tell you that if you’re stressed out, multitasking isn’t going to work. It’s important to rest when you can. Don’t you agree that when you’re rested, you can be better at what you do?

Plan-ahead

Multitasking comes down to planning. I think you’re a better multitasker when you know what lies ahead. I love writing out a to do list of what I need to get done. Makes my life so much easier.

Decide what is important first

When I have a busy day ahead, I try to keep the simple tasks for multitasking. I want to get the most important things done first, then I can bulk all the small stuff together.

Eliminate the unnecessary

When I have a long list of things to do, I delegate stuff to family and coworkers. If I don’t have time for everything, why kill myself to get everything done? The key to multitasking is to eliminate the unnecessary.

Make yourself focus

The key to multitasking is to make yourself focus. I like to grab coffee or something to make this possible. Focusing can be hard. However, once I’m focused, I can get so much done.
