Spread The Message That Every Drop Of Water Counts

If you think about it, there are several messages in the world that we should spread around. People should understand that the world has to be taken care of. There are so many world cases that we can work together on in order to improve things. Like the environment, which has always been an enormous factor of order. Although, it’s not just the environment that should be focused on.

Another great cause that we have to keep up with is saving water. In fact, World Water Week (August 26th to 31st) is coming up in a couple of days. Throughout this time we can all help with spreading the message of the importance of saving water. So how about getting the message going a bit early.

Every Little Drop Counts

A little over the last year, Colgate’s Every Drop Counts campaign has climbed the ranks. Doing, so it’s led to a potential reduction of about 50 billion gallons of water globally! A unique study was conducted back in April 2018. It showed that nearly three out of four Americans aware of the campaign we influence to save water. Of that entire group, about 58% stated that after hearing their message they made some significant changes.

Spread The Message That Every Drop Of Water Counts

Now, World Water Week is the perfect time to get people to focus on the challenge of water scarcity. Even a few simple changes can make the impact that matters. Here are some suggestions:

Spread The Message That Every Drop Of Water Counts

  • Turn Off The Faucet When Brushing Your Teeth: you can save up to 4 gallons or 64 glasses of water every time you brush for an average of two minutes!
  • Take Shorter Showers: the average shower lasts 8.2 minutes and wastes 17.2 gallons of water. Cutting showers down to 5 minutes can save at least 6 gallons of water.
  • Repair Leaky Faucets: a dripping faucet wastes 5 gallons of water a day so make sure to repair faucets as soon as leaks begin!
  • Only Run The Dishwasher When Full: the average dishwasher uses between 4 and 6 gallons of water per cycle, so try to avoid running half-full cycles

This is a special message that the world should come together on. Think of everything that can be done with all the waters saved! Be sure to go all over the information I have for you above.
