With two weeks until Valentine’s Day, if you haven’t decided on a gift for your loved one, now is the time to start thinking about it. I have some great LOW COST ideas to give your wife or significant other, a spa like evening in the comfort of your own home.
Bath Time is Me Time
Most parents can relate to never having time to themselves. If you haven’t hidden in the bathroom for five minutes of peace, then you’re probably not a parent! Taking a bath is the perfect way to unwind, and have time to yourself. So do you want to do something nice for your love this Valentine’s Day? If so, I know that most mom’s would ADORE a half an hour to themselves. So why not set up the perfect experience for her? If sounds like a great idea to you, then read on, because I have some inexpensive ideas on how to make it perfect for her.

Valentines Flowers and Candy
Yeah, yeah, flowers and candy have become a bit cliche for this holiday, but that doesn’t mean they aren’t nice to receive. My suggestion is to get a few flowers, and your sweetheart’s favorite candy. Do you have tea light candles at home? If not, head to the store and grab some. (In case you’re not sure what they are, they are the little candles in the tin.) Grab a couple of wine glasses from the cupboard too. Cut the flowers from the stems, tip the wine glass with the mouth down, and place the flowers inside. Now you can take those tea lights and set them on top. Voila! Romantic candle holders. Place these around the bath tub.
image courtesy of PixabayNow, place her favorite candy nearby. You know what else goes great with chocolate? Wine!! If your Valentine drinks wine, grab her favorite kind, and a glass, and place that next to the tub too.

A Good Book
Does she love to read? If so, and she’s currently reading a book, put that next to the tub too! If not, and you know what she likes to read, maybe grab her a new book for Valentines Day. There’s nothing like laying back and relaxing in a hot bath with a good book!
