New March Titles Your Kids Will Love

This March, Sky Pony Press has two new children’s titles, that I think your kids will love. I know mine does, and we want to share them with you!

Sky Pony Press New March Titles

I’m always on the hunt for great new children’s books. My son loves books. He’s ten, but he still loves “picture books.” Since I’m in no rush for him to grow up, I love it too. After he has read his books enough that he knows them by heart, he then passes them on to our local Head Start. So let’s talk about their new books.

Hattie Peck: The Journey Home

In this adorable book by Emma Levey, Hattie Peck and her blended family have to leave their loving nest. What I love the most about this book is that Hattie can’t have eggs of her own. So instead, she adopts eggs. She has collected eggs from all over the world, and hatched them herself. She is mother to storks, owls, cockatoos, even reptiles. Blended families are everywhere, and I love how Levey incorporates this into her story, in a child like way. This book is heartwarming and humorous. Sure to please children of all ages. Lucy Loves Sherman by Catherine Bailey

This book originally caught my eye because of the lobster. My son is Autistic, and when he was younger, we had to avoid a certain grocery store because of the lobsters in the tank. The few times we HAD to go in there, he screamed and cried, “Let them go! Fish are friends, NOT food!” (He loved Finding Nemo.)

Imagine my son’s delight when Lucy and her Nana go into Flotsam’s Fish Market, and she sees Sherman. Lucy insists that she needs him for her pet. My son adores this book, and has already read it countless times. The illustrations are precious and we think your kids will love it too! To get your copy, click HERE.
