If you’ve read some of my past posts, you probably know by now that I love natural and organic products. I’m all about product safety and try to ensure my household is safe in terms of not having dangerous chemicals around (or at least kept to a minimum). So, when I had the opportunity to try Mill Creek Botanicals, I was all for it.
I received their Pure Castile Soap in lavender and peppermint scents, their Cool Lavender Deodorant, and their 2-in-1 Shower and Shave Gels in peppermint and lavender scents. And, I love them all!
The Pure Castile Soaps are a multipurpose soap that is free of sulfates and parabens. According to Mill Creek, castile soap is the purest and mildest soap available. This soap is made from pure vegetable oil (so no animal fats or synthetic detergents). They even suggest you can use it to clean your fruits and vegetables (to clean off any potential yucky sprays that may be lurking on the surfaces). I’m loving this soap because, as someone that has eczema, pure gentle soap is what I seek to help prevent my skin from flaring up with eczema.
I also got to try their Cool Lavender Deodorant. Let me start off by saying the scent of this deodorant is divine! It smells like the lavender in my garden, as if you had taken the lavender plant and broke it open to smell that beautiful lavender scent that is so relaxing. Their deodorant is also free of propylene glycol and aluminum. And, it’s nonirritating and gentle and it conditions the skin. It contains coriander and tea tree oil to help fight bacteria and to keep ugly odor at bay.
They also have Mill Creek 2-in-1 Shower & Shave Gel. This gel is free of sulfates and parabens, which I love. It also contains argan oil to help improve the skin. I absolutely love argan oil products. I use a different argan oil product for my hair and it has made amazing improvements in my hair. So, I can’t wait to shower with this gel. We live in an area with very hard and harsh water, so this product will help a lot to keep my skin in good condition.
