Let’s Talk Fleas: PetArmor for Your Furbaby

This post is sponsored by Mirum, but opinions expressed are my own.

Oh no, you caught one. Could it possibly be?! Is that a tick? A flea? Not on your furbaby! How could this happen? you’re always so careful with your little furball.

Let’s Talk Fleas: PetArmor for Your Furbaby

Moms and dads of cats and/or dogs… ticks and fleas could happen to just about any pet. It is never a question of cleanliness or care. A part of being a pet parent is the potential for these pests, so never blame yourself for it.

I have been a proud feline-mama for years. With all the purring and all the love, there also comes the possibilities of fleas, ticks, and lice. Sometimes, it’s inevitable and it’s taken me years to find the right product.

Lo and behold, in comes PetArmor, and my wishes have been granted.

If Pets Could Talk
I have seven cats and it’s tons of fun. But with this many pets, you can only imagine the tick and flea scares we’ve had in the past.

I could just imagine my little Chloe saying: “They’re itchy, they refuse to leave… I hate those darn fleas! And I can’t believe how these different pests can be present all year long. Yes, twelve out of twelve months… even in colder climates. Do I have your attention now? Purrr!”

Parents of pets can agree: taking care of our furbabies is like taking care of our very own children. Dealing with fleas and ticks is as painful as fine-combing lice out of my daughter’s hair. And trust me, we’ve dealt with such situations in the past.

If only I knew about PetArmor seven cats ago. There are so many benefits to this product and this is why our family chooses it to keep our cats happy, healthy, and tick-and-flee free.

It’s Easy to Apply
Some anti-flea solutions are a pain to get on your dog and/or cat. PetArmor has only a few simple steps and doesn’t make your pet uncomfortable.

PetArmor emphasizes the importance of getting the right product for the right species. Since there is a PetArmor specific to dogs and cats, make sure you are purchasing the right one. Also, weight and age plays a huge factor in its effectiveness. PetArmor Plus for Dogs can only be used on dogs or puppies that are over 4 pounds and over 8 weeks of age. PetArmor Plus for Cats must be used on cats or kittens over 1.5 pounds and over 8 weeks of age.

Here’s how PetArmor explains the application process:

Applying the Product to Dogs:
• Remove product tubes from the package.
• Separate one tube from the others.
• Hold the tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end at the notches along the line.
• Invert tube over dog and use open end to part your dog’s hair.
• Squeeze tube firmly to apply all of the solution to the dog’s skin as a spot to the dog’s back between the shoulder blades.
• Keep treated pets apart from each other, other pets and children for 24 hours after treatment and until the product is dry. This helps prevent pets from ingesting the topical by licking or grooming one another.

Applying the Product to Cats:
• Remove product tubes from the package.
• Separate one tube from the others.
• Hold the tube with notched end pointing up and away from the face and body. Use scissors to cut off the narrow end at the notches along the line.
• While holding the cat with one hand, use the other hand to apply the solution. Invert the tube and use the narrow end to part the cat’s hair.
• Apply contents of one tube as a spot between the shoulder blades.
• Hold the cat for a few seconds to give the solution time to be absorbed into the cat’s coat.

With guidelines this simple, it’s no wonder both myself and all my feline babies are stress-free.

PetArmor Plus kills not only fleas and flea eggs but they also effectively kill flea larvae, ticks and chewing lice for up to 30 days. I suggest using PetArmor Plus once a month in order to stop and prevent infestations. Both you and your pet deserve that peace of mind.

Though we ourselves do not have pets, we can understand the issues involved. The poor pets would suffer in silence. Petarmor seems to be a good resource. Will share details with a few friends with pets.
