If there is one thing I know I love doing, it’s reading some amazing material! Reading has always been a huge part of my life, and it is for many people. Everyone has a different genre that they are interested in the most. Or maybe you are looking for a new author to stir things up a bit. Well, I think I just might be able to help you out with that!
Wonderful Titles Nobody Should Miss
There are a ton of great authors out there, and Janet Ruth Heller is one of them. She has written a number of titles that people enjoy. Now, you have the chance to experience a few of her titles yourself! Here are just a few of her many options to work with:
- Traffic Stop – contains some of Heller’s best poems written from the 1970s to 2009. Themes include being an assertive nontraditional woman, having close relationships, teaching college English and women’s studies, loving nature, traveling, being involved in the anti-Vietnam War movement, mourning her father’s death, experiencing folk music at different stages of her life, and being an artist/entertainer/writer
- How The Moon Regained Her Shape – his fascinating story influenced by Native American folktales explains why the moon changes shape and helps children deal with bullies. After the sun insults and bullies her, the moon feels so badly hurt that she shrinks and leaves the sky. The moon turns to a comet and her many friends on earth to comfort her. Her friends include rabbits and Native Americans. Then she regains her full shape, happiness, and self-esteem. The moon also returns to her orbit.
