More Big-Name Companies Will Sell CBD Products

There are currently CBD products, typically topical creams used for beauty and wellness, in CVS, Walgreens, Rite Aid, Ulta Beauty, GNC, and even Urban Outfitters.
Another big name in the retail market is Whole Foods. They recently expanded their distribution to include topical cannabidiol products. Currently, they are only available in 13 states, but they have a rollout plan that will include 29 states and 359 stores.
Regarding the decision to include CBD products, Whole Foods’ global senior category merchant, Jennifer Coleman, said, “Our shoppers have expressed a growing interest in CBD products. We’re thrilled to roll out topical CBD products in even more stores and to share new, exclusive items from our longstanding supplier partner Pacha Soap Co.”
The decision for big name companies to carry the best CBD oil products is a direct response to the changes to the classification of cannabis. It’s no longer considered a Schedule 1 drug, which relieves some of the restrictions on selling it.
