Nomi Network vision is a world without slavery where every woman can know her full potential. Nomi Network is a vital nonprofit economic development agency fighting human trafficking in India and Cambodia. We work in areas where trafficking is prevalent to provide training and job opportunities. As well as workforce and community development services, and products made by our trainees for brands aiming to develop a more ethical and transparent supply chain. To help support their missions, they have a SponsorHer program. With your support, you are empowering women to become changemakers in their families and communities.
Supporting the Nomi Network
You can help support the Nomi Network in two ways: sponsoring someone from their SponsorHer program and/or shopping on their website. The first way is by participating in the SponsorHer program. To do this, you can chose between a $25, $50, $75, or $100 monthly donation to women that are at risk of being trafficked or survivors of trafficking. Your monthly donation helps a victim:
- Learn life skills training
- Goes into a savings account for her
- Helps with legal seminars and counseling sessions
- Assists with production Training
In return, you will receive annual updates on the progress of the woman you sponsor and the community they live in. You will also receive a letter and/or a photo from the women you sponsor. After six months of sponsorship, you will receive a small gift of appreciation.
