Sugared almonds are a classic wedding favor treat, that can be easily made yourself. However, if you struggle you can always buy some homemade ones from your local sweet shop. Use small patterned squares of material as wrapping for the favors. Place a few of the almonds inside each material square and use a pretty piece of ribbon to tie them up. You could also add a small thank you tag to each.

Homemade lollipops are perfect wedding favors, they are low-cost and easy to make. To give your lollipops a cute touch use a heart-shaped mold. To tie them in with your wedding theme, you could also create two different colored lollipop batches to match your wedding colors.

Edible wedding favors

If you don’t have the time to make them but want to give away edible wedding favors, there are so many great ideas available.

Chocolate is perfect for using as a wedding favor. Many companies will give you the option of presenting your chosen chocolate favors in a printed gift box of your choice. Ensure that you are aware of any allergies guests may have, such as a nut allergy. Accommodate this by asking your chocolate company what allergen free chocolates they can create.

Cake pops are another fabulous party favor idea. You can either make them yourself, although this can be rather time-consuming and slightly tricky. Or you can order them from your favorite bakery or cake shop. The best thing about using cake pops as party favors is that you can choose from various patterns and designs.

Choose retro sweets that tie in with the color themes of your wedding and fill mini glass jars with them as tasty favors. To add an extra touch, tie a piece of dotted or patterned ribbon around the neck of the jars and add a small thank you label.
