Tis the season for warm drinks! I have a bunch of coffee, tea and cocoa lovers on my holiday list. One of my favorite things to gift are handmade baskets full of goodies. Lets make an easy DIY beverage basket for gifting. It’s fun and your friends and family will love it!
Easy DIY Beverage Basket for Gifting
You don’t have to spend a ton to give a gorgeous and meaningful gift. As a matter of fact, my DIY beverage baskets are very low-cost, but people love them! To get started you’ll need to make a trip to the Dollar Tree.
Grab a basket, or even a holiday themed bowl. Next, find a fun holiday mug. (If you have more money to work with, you can even get these at the mall.) Get some paper filling while you’re at the Dollar Tree. If the recipient likes candy canes, grab some of those too! Oh, and look for the cellophane on the birthday aisle. That will wrap your gift up nicely.
More Fillers
I like to do coffee, cocoa, and tea baskets. For the coffee drinkers on my list, I get Alpine Start Coffee. It’s instant coffee, but it tastes so good, you would think it was fresh brewed in a fancy shop. The single serve packets are also great for those on the go. They can even keep some in their desk, purse, or bag.

For the cocoa lovers, I grab the Land O Lakes flavored cocoa packets. They have seven flavors, and they are all to die for! The tea lovers usually get a box of peppermint tea bags.
Assembly Required
This is the fun part! Grab your basket or bowl, and put some filler in the bottom. Next put your fancy mug, and the beverages you have chosen. I like to add some candy canes, and fresh-baked cookies too. You can even do a big one and fill it with your Alpine Start Coffee, tea and cocoa. That would be perfect for an entire family. (Add some more mugs too!) That’s it. A useful gift with lots of love and thought!
