The Easter Story Presented By An Egg

The Easter Story Presented by An Egg

As my children get older, they are starting to understand more and more. It is important to me and my husband that they understand the true meaning of holidays such as Christmas and Easter. The easiest way for our children to understand things is visually. They also love to read. The Story Egg is the perfect product to do this. It incorporates both visual learning and they have great books to go along with the egg. We are learning the Easter Story presented by an egg.

About the Egg

This fantastic wooden egg easily comes apart into seven different eggs. Each egg has a beautiful picture painted on the outside. Each picture represents a key part of the Easter story. Each picture also coincides with the book which helps to tell the true meaning of Easter. The story starts on Palm Sunday and ends on Easter Sunday.

The Easter Story Egg

Material

Each package comes with your egg set and the book. The eggs are made out of real wood. It is a suggestion on The Story Egg’s website, that you take apart your eggs by pulling, not twisting them. Also, they suggest leaving the eggs out for a couple days to let the moisture release.

Experience

My children loved the Easter Egg. It prompted my three year old to ask questions and engaged him in the story by being able to follow the story and opening the egg.
