Take the cone out and immediately bend the end over a straw or spoon handle.

Hold the cone tightly over the straw or spoon handle for about 30 seconds to a minute or until it’s hard enough to keep its shape.

Gently, slide-out the straw and or spoon and let cool completely.

I recommend doing one cone at a time.

After the cones are all cooled, fill with delicious fall candy.

HOW LONG DOES IT REALLY TAKE TO MAKE CORNUCOPIA TREATS?

This no-bake Thanksgiving treat is so quick to whip up. This Cornucopia Treat recipe takes approximately 12 minutes. TOTAL. This includes:

  • About 3 minutes to microwave the cones
  • Close to 3 minutes to bend each cone into a cornucopia shape
  • Around 6 minutes to fill each cone with candies and place wrap over it

CAN I USE REGULAR ICE CREAM CONES INSTEAD OF SUGAR CONES?

Nope. Unfortunately, you need to use a sugar cone because sugar cones have so much sugar in them that when heated it is easy to bend them and change their shape.

WHAT GOES WELL WITH CORNUCOPIA TREATS?

Cornucopia Treats go well with a wide variety of fall treats. Some of my personal favorites include:

  • Turkey Pretzel Bites
  • Pumpkin Pie Milkshakes
  • Pumpkin Pie
  • Gingersnaps
  • Pumpkin Doughnuts

WHAT ELSE CAN I ADD TO THIS CORNUCOPIA TREAT RECIPE?

This simple Cornucopia Treat recipe not only tastes great, but it’s also incredibly versatile. Consider dipping the cone into melted chocolate, and sticking yummy candies to the cone.  YUM!
