I never had any problems with my breastfed kids taking bottles.  Unfortunately, my newest granddaughter is having this very problem.  She will not drink anything unless it comes out of my daughter’s breast.  That causes a lot of problems.  Mom can’t leave the house for very long because she needs to be available for feedings.  My daughter has bought every bottle that is on the market but hasn’t had any luck.  I was so excited when I read about Nanobébé!  This company has figured out breastfeeding in a bottle.

First of all, the bottles are actually shaped like a woman’s breast.  The nipples aren’t too long or too short, I’m not sure how they have done it.  Also, if you put breastmilk into a regular bottle, the warmer it gets, the more bacteria grows in it.  That is scary to me.  Nanobébé has come up with the only bottle that preserves breastmilk nutrients.  How impressive is that?  As if that isn’t enough, the bottle also warms up quicker than other bottles.  Oh, and you can buy small adapters so that you can fill the bottle straight from your breast!  It just connects to your breast pump, and you can simply store it in the refrigerator.  That way it is ready to go when baby needs a feeding.

Where was this great stuff when my kids were babies?  You wouldn’t even want to see the breast pumps back then.  They look like some kind of torture device!  Well, they kind of were (haha).  Honestly, when my son was breastfeeding, I didn’t have a pump or anything to measure how much milk was coming out.  I was always guessing if he was getting enough.  That was about the time that I decided to stop and go to formula.  It was much more mysterious then.  A lot more guessing.  That isn’t much fun when it comes to kids getting enough nutrients.

So back to my 6-month old granddaughter.  She refuses to eat out of any bottle, no matter how much we have tried.  I finally found the Nanobébé bottles, and I’m very pleased to say that she has at least sucked on the bottle!  That is a start.  We are introducing it slowly, and hopefully, she will continue to advance until finally drinking straight from the bottle.  I know my daughter is appreciative to Nanobébé.
