Materials needed

There are a range of DIY kits available to buy online, the parts can be built to your exact measurements and delivered direct to your door.

All you need to do then is piece the kit together once it arrives. Most are built with good quality tiber to ensure longevity.

There are a few different things that you will need to consider when deciding on a pub shed of your own.

These include things like what roof style you prefer, if you want insulation, and what size pub shed would be best in your garden?

Also you need to think about what style suits you best – modern or traditional?

The interior

You will have more time to design the interior if you use a DIY pub shed option and there are some really good garden bar set outdoor furniture set available online for the purpose of kitting out your bar with.

There is everything from traditional bar stools, through to comfortable sofas to relax on. You could put a TV up on the wall so that you never miss out on an important sporting event again, or create your own sporting fun with a pool table instead.

There are just so many options for you to consider when kitting out the interior of a pub shed. Websites like Pinterest are great as a source of inspiration from other garden pub sheds.

Location

Deciding on the location will depend on the size and shape of your garden. If your garden is large enough and more open, you could get a pub shed which opens onto some sort of seating area.

However, for smaller gardens, one tucked away into a corner might be a more suitable option.

Adding heaters or a fire pit is great for setting the mood in the evening.

If you have the space you might also want to consider building a toilet, something that you will no doubt find to be very convenient.

You will need a water connection and possibly mains electricity so keep that in mind also during the planning stage of the build.

Once it’s built, decorated, and fully stocked, all you need to do is invite your friends and family over. There’ll be no last orders called unless you want to!
