Who doesn’t love Pokémon these days? What a craze this has been but my 12yr old is a fan of Pokémon now due to Pokémon Go. She loves collecting the cards and figurines plus all the cool toys. So why not throw a PARTY to celebrate some NEW toys that will be available soon.
Planning a party is hard but so worth it! Kids love parties, so I let my daughter help me plan this one, and I’m happy I did. We invited people by EVITE and that way it was online, so the communication was open. For some odd reason, it was a very busy weekend for some people plus we had a storm come through but we made this party work.
Decorations were simple because the Pokémon brand has so many colors, so we stuck with Red, Yellow, Blue and Red. We went to the dollar store and got all the party goodies! Where else can you get party supplies for under $20.00? Next was the grocery store to get FOOD. Every party needs munchies like chips, baked apple crisps, cinnamon twists, and FRUIT. We also got Pizza making stuff to make simple cheese or pepperoni pizza. Kids love to make their pizzas!
Now for the cake….we made a POKEMON cake, of yes we did!
Games...well of course Pokémon Go was the one game we all played. The POKÉMON Z-RING was the hit of the party, and everyone wanted to try it out. Something NEW and exciting that every fan would love that is for sure.

Gift bags, of course, was something we gave out to all the kids. We bought the bags at the dollar store too, and my daughter drew a Pokémon on it with their name. Personalized is so much fun and memorable. After the bags had been decorated, we added Pokémon toys, cards, and one candy (red ring pop)- always have to have candy in gift bags.
The kids were super excited about the new Pokémon toys that are coming out in November- Toys R Us!
