A little knowledge of the chakras’ meanings can go a long way.
You would still benefit from connecting with nature to gain strength and healing.
Each chakra has its own set of functions and characteristics as the main junctions of spiritual energy in the body.
Here is a brief description of the seven chakras, their locations, the qualities they promote, and how you can open them all at the same time (meditation!).

#1) The root chakra:
- The best way to find this chakra would be to sit in the lotus position (or cross-legged).
- Located right at the base of your tailbone, the root chakra is referred to as such.
- We feel more grounded and stable when we meditate on the root chakra.
- Life’s bare necessities, such as food and shelter, are associated with this word.
- Our root chakra is often referred to as our centre of financial stability.
- When we feel rooted in this chakra, we are reminded that the ground is always beneath us, and we just need to relax.
- There is always a way back to our roots, no matter what life throws at us.
#2) The sacral chakra:
- There are two inches of space below and two inches of space inward from the navel for the sacral chakra.
- This chakra represents graciousness, pleasure, and selflessness.
- Practicing sacral meditation increases our generosity and generosity of spirit.
- By opening up the sacral chakra, we are more connected to the “whole” – reducing loneliness and depression.
#3) The Solar Plexus Chakra:
- Located in the upper abdomen, this chakra has its name from its location.
Control is closely related to how we feel.
- There is a possibility that your solar plexus chakra may have been feeling weak if you have ever had butterflies in your stomach.
- Explains why people who are nervous put their hands on their stomachs out of anxiety.
- This chakra can be opened by physical touch.
- Confidence is known to be boosted by solar plexus chakra meditation.
#4) The heart chakra:
- Chest chakras are located in the centre of the chest as their name implies. We become more loving of ourselves and others when we meditate on the heart chakra.
- It is through the heart chakra that we are able to experience joy and inner peace.

#5) The throat chakra:
- In addition to being located in the throat, this chakra is also responsible for hearing.
- Communicating and balancing are the functions of this chakra.
- Our ability to listen and express ourselves is enhanced when we meditate on the throat chakra.
- The release of negative thoughts can be a great catalyst for releasing these thoughts.

- This chakra enhances creativity when it is opened.
#6) The third eye chakra:
- This chakra is commonly referred to as the “brow chakra” because of its location between the eyes.
- Meditation on the third eye chakra helps us focus and see the big picture in addition to helping us focus.
- Meditation in this area helps people cope with adversity more effectively.
- There is wisdom and intuition in the third eye. There is wisdom and intuition in the third eye.
- We are reminded of the vastness of the universe by looking at it.
#7) The crown chakra:
- On top of the head is the highest chakra.
- A spiritual connection is maintained between the body and the “ALL.”
- Prana enters the body through this major gateway.
- Meditation on the crown chakra opens our minds to the beauty of both the inside and outside.
- When this chakra is opened, we are filled with pure bliss.
As we meditate, the crown chakra helps us feel a strong connection to our inner divinity and higher self.
