The Sweetest Way To a Toddlers Heart

With Valentine’s day approaching, I have been brainstorming what to do for my three-year-old pre-school class. I wanted to do something cute and that was a good alternative but something that is not going to just get tossed aside like a normal Valentine day card. That is when I came across Welch’s challenge to design and create your own Valentine day carrier. The perfect treat for the sweetest way to a toddlers heart.

What we received

We received a box that contained all the necessities we needed to decorate our own Valentines day box/carrier and Valentines Day Welch’s fruit snacks with a convenient spot to write to and from right on the package itself.

What we did

Being that my son is three and has the attention span of well a three-year-old, I helped him to decorate a red bin that we conveniently already had laying around. We talked about what he wanted in the bin and then went from there. He wanted his name and hears. We used the glitter pens to write his name and draw hearts on the bin (in boy colors per request) and then we used the heart gems and he glued a few to the front of the bin. As for the inside, the box making kit had red crinkle paper packaging which we re-purposed to use as a filler in his bin. Then we addressed his fruit snacks and wah-la we were done and it turned out so cute!
