The Finale To Terri Blackstock’s Suspenseful Trilogy – You Won’t Want To Miss It!

Are you in need of a really good book? I don’t know about you, but it’s been a long time since I’ve read a captivating, suspenseful book. Well, I think I found one. It’s called “If I Live,” (released March 6, 2018, with Zondervan/HarperCollins), by Terri Blackstock, an award-winning, best-selling author with over 7 million of her books sold.

But first, let me rewind a bit.  “If I Live” is the third book in a trilogy called “If I Run.” The books, in order, are: “If I Run,” “If I’m Found,” and “If I Live.”  All three books are about a young woman named Casey. She is framed in the first book for the murder of her close friend, Brent. As she stands there with blood all around, she quickly realizes she needs to run. She escapes, trying to buy herself time and to avoid prosecution (and possibly murder of herself).

Dylan Roberts, who was also a close friend of the murder victim, is hired by Brent’s family to help catch the murderer (who is suspected to be Casey). He’s an excellent private investigator secondary to him having experience in the Army while working in the military Criminal Investigations Division. Although he is a prime choice to help in the investigation, he still struggles with his PTSD that he developed secondary to fighting in Afghanistan and Iraq.

The books’ chapters alternate primarily between the two protagonists, Casey and Dylan, creating a fast-paced, intense story that you’ll have a difficult time putting down.  The trilogy starts off as a game of hide-and-seek with Casey and Dylan as the players. However, at a later point, the tables turn and Dylan switches to Casey’s side.

Terri Blackstock Continues The Suspense

In the third book, “If I Live,” Casey is still struggling to find a way to prove herself innocent. She is also trying to build a case against the true criminals. Dylan and her are racing against time to continue to solve the crime before something tragic happens. Will they both make it to the end? I don’t want to spoil it for you. So, I highly recommend that you get the book for yourself to see how it ends. And, if you haven’t read the first two books, I highly recommend you read the entire trilogy.  I don’t think you’ll be disappointed!
