Absolutely Gluten Free believes food can be simultaneously gluten-free and delicious. And, they’ve proved that to be true. They have come out with a new snack I’d like to introduce to you. It’s called the TahiniBAR. It’s an energy bar made of tahini (which is made of roasted sesame seeds).
When I think of tahini, I think of hummus. And, I love hummus. So, when I heard about an energy bar made with tahini, I thought, “I’ve got to check this out.” I’m a big fan of eating seeds and nuts (I eat chia seeds and almonds in my oatmeal just about every day).

I had the opportunity to try TahiniBARs in the 3 flavors it comes in: cocoa nibs, pistachio, and vanilla. Each one was a tasty treat with a sweet and slightly nutty flavor. According to Absolutely Gluten Free, “Our Tahini Bar borrows from the tradition of ancient halva-makers who first recognized tahini’s tantalizing potential as a dessert.”
Each TahiniBAR is only 100 calories. They are free of gluten and dairy. They are also certified Kosher.
The MSRP is $2.49 – $2.99 per bar. Amazon sells the bars in a 2-pack with 7 bars per pack. Amazon sells the 2-pack at $10 for the cocoa nibs and $9.99 for the vanilla and $9.99 for the pistachio.
