Pendulous Pain: Simple Strategies for Dealing With Big Breasts

If you happen to have large breasts you are also likely to experience a variety of pains that vary from back and neck ache to discomfort with your shoulders and arms.

There are practical issues to contend with as well when you are well-endowed in the breast department, so here are some simple strategies to consider that may make your life a bit easier and more comfortable.

Avoiding regular exercise

It is understandably easy to find it much easier to avoid regular exercise like running when you have a pair of pendulous breasts that you are trying to keep under control.

These days, there are some excellent sports bras available which are specifically designed to provide good coverage for your cleavage and stop them from bouncing around excessively when you are trying to exercise.

Having a large chest can certainly cause you to suffer from back pain and that can become worse if you try to do an activity like running. There are some other cardio exercises that you might feel more comfortable with like swimming or bike riding, but wearing a sports bra can help make you less self-conscious and more comfortable, so it is worth investing in a good quality one.

Considering breast reduction

If your large chest is giving you regular problems with back aches and neck pain and you also suffer from several other physical complaints such as numbness in your fingers or hands, it could be worth considering breast reduction surgery in order to alleviate these issues.

Having large breasts is also be linked to regular migraines, which is bi-product of the other physical problems you may be experiencing and it is definitely possible that some health problems you are experiencing are down to carrying excess weight on the chest area.

There are some strategies that you can try in order to improve your health and reduce the symptoms associated with large breasts, such as physical therapy, making some ergonomic changes and even some pain medication, but the general medical consensus is that the only truly effective way to alleviate the symptoms, is with breast reduction surgery.

Minimal pain

Whilst all surgical procedures have some level of discomfort and pain associated with them, it should be reassuring to hear that breast reduction surgery is considered to be a relatively low risk operation with minimal postoperative pain and a fast recovery time.

Breast reduction is a common procedure carried out regularly by experts like KR Plastic Surgery amongst others, and the operation involves taking out skin and superficial without having to move any muscles or organs in the process.

What to expect afterwards

Breast reduction surgery can be successful in relieving physical complaints that occur as a result of having a large chest, but you will have to expect that one aspect that is unavoidable afterwards is the prospect of some scarring.

It is not possible to avoid scarring but as the surgeon will tell you beforehand, the degree to which scarring occurs varies between women, as we all have different scarring potential. Despite this, many women questioned were not overly concerned about scarring and feedback shows that over 90% of breast reduction patients, were happy that they had taken the decision to go ahead with the procedure.

Don’t suffer with pain due to your large breasts, there are ways to improve your health.
