All it takes to make my Patriotic Popsicle Stick Vase are popsicle sticks, paint, and an empty tin can.

This DIY vase is very budget-friendly. It also makes for the perfect host/hostess gift!

Your kids will love helping you make this Patriotic Popsicle Stick Vase.

They can definitely help with the painting aspect.

But be careful because assembling this vase requires the use of a hot glue gun.

Instructions For Patriotic Popsicle Stick Vase

  • Paint half of the popsicle sticks blue and the other half, red. Allow to dry completely.
  • Glue each popsicle stick around the cleaned can, alternating between both colors. Press down on each popsicle stick for about 20 seconds to ensure that it’s secure on the can.
  • Allow to dry for about 20-30 minutes.
  • Wrap brown twine around the popsicle stick vase and place your favorite flowers or plants inside.

You can buy wooden Popsicle sticks either on Amazon, Dollar Tree, Walmart and so many other stored that would carry crafting supplies.

Just shop around for the cheapest and have fun.

  • Popsicle Sticks
  • Red Paint
  • Blue Paint
  • Foam Brush
  • Hot Glue Gun
  • Glue Sticks
  • Brown Twine
