As a fur baby owner, I’m always on the look out for tasty treats, fun toys, or new collars and leashes for my girls. I recently acquired the Nifti™ SafeLatch Magnetic Dog Leash. I love this leash.
Nifti™ SafeLatch Magnetic Dog Leash
We have two fur girls. One small, and one large. I have used this leash with both of them, and it works amazing. However, I mainly use it when we’re walking our German Shepherd because she’s strong, and needs a stronger hold leash. What I mean by a stronger hold is that because of the magnetic clasp, the leash stays connected and is more sturdy.

It’s also designed to give you one-handed control when hooking up your dog. Let’s face it, our hands are usually full with a phone, drink, keys and more, so only needing one hand to latch my girl up is nice. Especially when she’s super excited to walk in the park, and can’t contain her wiggling. Simply push down on the thumb shape level, and place the opened latch next to the D ring on the their collar. Once I hear the “click,” I know she’s latched properly and there’s no chance of her snapping off her leash. (She’s not aggressive, but due to her size, people aren’t keen to see her bounding up to them, and I don’t blame them.)
To easily release the magnetic hold, rotate the latch away from the D ring on the collar, breaking the magnetic connection. Then push down on the thumb-shaped level and release. Easy peasy. I love it!
