Introducing the launch of the new Fall season at the revamped Columbia Speedway Amphitheater.
The reconfigured venue can now fit more than 12,000 fans at every show.
This season will be different from past concerts at the speedway.
The newly designed Columbia Speedway Amphitheater will be set up like a traditional amphitheater with a small VIP seated section near the stage followed by general admission lawn seating.
So this time around everyone will have the perfect view they could imagine.
Here is a look at what acts you’re going to be experiencing.
The Revivalists & Michael Franti (8/28):
Chart-topping rock band The Revivalists had been grinding for more than a decade when their now platinum-selling single “Wish I Knew You” took off, setting a record for most single-week spins ever at Alternative Radio and becoming a mainstream phenomenon spending 9 weeks on the BillboardHot 100.
The success opened the doors to numerous television shows including The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Kimmel LIVE!, TODAY, and garnered major media attention from the likes of Rolling Stone, NPR, Billboard, and more.
The band has been touring the country and ignited festival stages at Bonnaroo, Governor’s Ball, Lollapalooza, New Orleans Jazz Fest, Outside Lands, and Pilgrimage.
Renowned for their live firepower, soulful alt-rock anthems, and their distinct mix of many of the classic styles of American music, the 8-piece ensemble of pedal steel guitar, unique two-drummer set-up, horns, and more is led by the incredible voice of frontman David Shaw.

Throughout his multi-decade career, Franti has earned three Billboard No. 1’s with triumphantly hopeful hits “Sound of Sunshine,” “Say Hey (I Love You)” and “I Got You,” as well as six Top 30 Hot AC singles, nine Top 25 AAA Singles and three Billboard Top 5 Rock Albums.
“I Got You,” lead single from his latest album Work Hard And Be Nice, marked Franti’s first No. 1 in nearly 10 years and landed on NPR’s “Most Popular Songs of 2020,” while the music video boasts over 1 million views since its release. Michael Franti & Spearhead recorded the 17-song album in studios in Nashville, Los Angeles, and San Francisco working with A-list writers and producers on what has been called their most diverse record yet.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit (9/2):
What happens after an artist has achieved his dreams?
That was the major question Jason Isbell was asking himself leading up to the creation of his newest album, Reunions, recorded with the 400 Unit and produced by celebrated producer Dave Cobb.
After all, four-time Grammy winner Isbell is at the top of his game.
He is widely acclaimed as one of our best songwriters and possesses a devoted audience who has pushed his last two albums to the tops of the charts.
Isbell’s solution: to go back in time with his hard-gained knowledge. The result is a seamless collection of ten new songs that delve into relationships with lovers, friends, children, parents, and one’s self.
Sublime with Rome & Dirty Heads (9/11):
Sublime With Rome was formed in 2010 by lead-singer/guitarist Rome Ramirez, bassist Eric Wilson, and drummer Carlos Verdugo.
The band is currently on tour in support of their hit 2019 album BLESSINGS with singles WICKED HEART and LIGHT ON making a splash at alternative radio. BLESSINGS is the band’s third studio album, and it was helmed by Rob Cavallo, the producer behind Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, and more.
In 2020 Sublime With Rome is dominating the rock and alternative music charts as well as headlining 5K+ capacity rooms and major festivals worldwide.
With fan-favorite hits such as WRONG WAY, SANTERIA, BADFISH, WHAT I GOT, CARESS ME DOWN, 40oz TO FREEDOM, and many more, the band’s concerts are pure sing-along enjoyment from beginning to end.
Following in the footsteps of their California brothers Sublime, Huntington Beach’s Dirty Heads mix hip-hop, reggae, and rock along with that laid-back So Cal attitude.
The group formed in 2003 when punk rocker Dustin Bushnell (aka Duddy B) asked his friend, rapper Jared Watson (aka Dirty J), to collaborate on a project that would focus on positive vibes and infectious grooves.
Watson added singing to his vocal skills, and with percussionist Jon Olazabal, an acoustic trio version of Dirty Heads began playing shows and building an audience.
They have gone on to release seven studio albums and played some of the biggest venues in America.
Gov’t Mule & Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue (9/16):
Gov’t Mule never lost sight of where they began. During a break from The Allman Brothers Band in 1994, guitarist and frontman Warren Haynes and original bassist Allen Woody formed Gov’t Mule with drummer Matt Abts, with whom Haynes played alongside in the Dickey Betts Band.
Led by visionary GRAMMY Award-winning artist and guitar legend Haynes – a cornerstone of the American music landscape – the enduring, globally revered group has showcased its virtuosity, intelligence, and breadth over the course of 20+ studio and live albums.
Their flexible interplay in the studio and on stage makes them a true living, breathing ensemble, and Haynes is lauded as one of the most formidable guitarists and vocalists of the modern era and a prolific songwriter and producer.
Beloved bandleader, singer, songwriter, and horn-blower Trombone Shorty was born Troy Andrews.
Raised in one of the Tremé’s most musical families, Andrews got his name when he picked up his instrument at four. By eight, he led his own band in parades, halls, and even bars.
Promoters would try to hand money to his older cousins, but they’d kindly redirect them to the boy. In his teens, Andrews played shows abroad with the Neville Brothers.
Fresh out of high school he joined Lenny Kravitz’ band and has been on the road ever since.
Through three studio albums and many collaborations since, Andrews nurtured a voracious appetite for all types of music—a phenomenon on fluid display every time he takes the stage.
Ziggy Marley (10/5):
Ziggy Marley is an eight-time Grammy winner, Emmy winner, musician, producer, activist, and humanitarian who has cultivated a legendary career for close to 40 years.
The eldest son of Bob and Rita Marley, Ziggy has hewed his own path as a musical pioneer, infusing the reggae genre with funk, blues, rock, and other elements through mindful songcraft.
Equal parts master storyteller and motivational guide, he deftly explores issues from environmental awareness to self-empowerment, social injustice to political inequity, while returning again and again to the transformative power of love.
