What many do not realize is that working out is a great thing for one’s skin as well. Think about it.

Whenever you get to exercise and sweat, your skin is glowing.

Now, you can’t very well work out before a date or a meeting with a client; but by working out regularly, you will create healthy and glowing skin.

How come that physical activity can more than benefit one’s cardiovascular health?

You are only increasing the chances of burns. Remember that toners are not designed to work together with sun exposure, so make sure you protect your skin from the sun when you apply chemicals to it.

But if you are adamant about exercising outdoors, then you should know that applying sunscreen is the only way to do that.

Make sure to apply sunscreen liberally on all exposed areas of your skin to protect it from the harsh rays of the sun.

Although getting enough sun is great for your skin, too much sun exposure can damage skin. So no matter the weather forecast, have that sunscreen ready.

Experts said that you must use sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or above to protect your skin. You must reapply it every two hours.

If you sweat a lot, make sure to get a sunscreen lotion with water-resistant properties.

Remember not to wear makeup when you work out. Yes, you want to look good but honestly, who will look good with makeup and sweat on?

Sweat will even cause your makeup to run, which isn’t a good look at all.

One misconception about exercising is that sweat is a natural moisturizer, which means you do not need one anymore.

The truth is that exercise can sometimes cause chaffing and rashes.

This is because of the friction and moisture build-up.

What you can do under these conditions is to use an antiperspirant and moisturizer on the areas of your body where redness, uneven skin tone, and chapping can occur.

Exercising does a lot of great things for the body, your skin included. You will notice a different glow to your skin when you start exercising regularly, so make this a part of your skincare routine.

And while it is not easy these days to push yourself off the bed and start doing what you have been doing pre-pandemic, remember that living a healthy lifestyle is also one way of fighting off whatever virus strain there is.
