Add 2 drops of green gel food coloring (I used neon green but any green works). Separate evenly into cupcake tins.

Bake for 15-18 mins, remove from oven and allow to cool.

While the cupcakes are cooling make the frosting.

Beat butter on medium speed in a stand mixer or with a handheld until fluffy.

Gradually beat in the powdered sugar.

Add the vanilla and milk and beat until incorporated, about 2 mins.

Tint buttercream icing purple (I used 2 drops of electric purple, violet can also be used). Beat for 5 mins on high to make it super silky.

Add buttercream to a piping bag (or Ziplock bag) fitted with a 1M or 2D piping tip.

To make the Frankenstein pops, melt the green candy melts and add in 1-2 tsp of coconut oil (you can also use vegetable oil).

Melt the candy melts in 30-second increments at a time in the microwave until melted, do not overheat it, as it will burn.

Mix it well, adding 1 tsp of oil at a time to make it smooth.

Notes

If working with kids add the popsicle sticks to the rice krispy treats before decorating, but make sure your bowl is large enough to dip the rice krispy treat.

It is strongly recommended to use piping bags to have more control over the design, but ziplock bags will work.

Sprinkles can be added at each layer if you would like.

Each jar should have 3 sections of cake and 3 sections of frosting
