Harley’s Favorite Puppy/Dog Food & Treats

See our cute puppy we got for the family.  His name is Harley, and he is a blue-nosed pit bull.  He has brought our family so much joy and happiness but also some headaches.  Having a pet is a first for us, so we are all new to this and still a little lost on what to do with him, what can he eat, how do we figure out what food he should eat, are we giving him the right amount.  However, we have some amazing brands that sent us food for Harley to try it is some of the best pet food..  We gradually introduced him to every brand below and each one he did very well with and please read how we felt about each product.

Harley LOVED Organix, and we will be buying more in the future.  This was the first dry food we gave him after we received him.  This dog food was perfect for him, tiny pieces that he was able to swallow. He would eat up this food pretty quickly.  We recommend this food for the pups out there!

When I first gave this to Harley, he looked at me then looked at the bowl and walked off.  It was different, so he didn’t quite know what it was at first but after he tried it….oh my gosh he went crazy when he saw me preparing this for him. He would gobble away then go back throughout the day. Harley liked this a bit more lumpy (less water), so this is also a big winner in our book.  Now the look of the food isn’t tempting for me, but for my Harley, he didn’t mind what so ever! I like how all the food in the recipe is all human food. It is dehydrated that is why we need to add the water.

Oh yeah don’t let the small bag fool you…you will get 1.8lbs of food per bag, and this is a sampler- just imagine what a full bag would make.   It is complete and balanced for all dog life stages.

Love at First Bark

Love at First Bark features Solid Gold’s proprietary blend of 20 superfoods delivering vital nutrients as well as optimal protein and fat for a puppy’s growing body. I will be honest this dog food WENT QUICKLY.  Harley went in as soon as I put the bowl down and didn’t stop until he was done.  Now I didn’t give him the whole can in one sitting, but what I did give him he ate so fast and looked at me like he wanted more.  This food was the first canned food we gave Harley.  I’m not sure what type of food he had before coming to us, but with the way, he ate this so fast I think it was canned. We will get brand again!

This was gone so fast, but he enjoyed sitting out on the porch chewing on this stick.  We want to get more of these because this helped him sit still for awhile and he liked it a lot.

Nourish line –

Nourish Jerky Bites and Supplements worked very well when we were training him to go outside to go to the bathroom.  Every time he went outside to go potty he got rewarded with Nourish treat.  They are perfect size training, and Harley loved them too.  He would run back into the house after going to the bathroom outside and sit right next to where I had the Nourish packs.  So this was a wonderful training treat!
