The City of Eureka, California is celebrating the Grand Opening of their new Redwood Sky Walk this weekend, Friday, June 4th through Sunday, June 6th!
If you aren’t familiar with Redwood Sky Walk, then you are in for quite the experience.
The Redwood Sky Walk is a self-guided interpretive experience that takes visitors up amongst the tallest trees in the world to explore a treasured and unique ecosystem.
The rugged Redwood Forests of California’s North Coast have captured the imagination of filmmakers, travel lovers, and nature enthusiasts for generations and the Redwood Sky Walk now offers visitors a unique and entirely new way to experience the trees.
The Redwood Sky Walk offers nine platforms connected by ten elevated bridges that stretch from magnificent redwood tree to magnificent redwood tree in this ancient community grove.
Guests experience a nearly ¼ mile walk that offers 360-degree views of the forest, the canopy, and the park down below.
Designed to educate, inspire, and delight visitors, the Redwood Sky Walk has no stairs, is ADA accessible (with the exception of one optional adventure segment), and offers fun for the entire family.
It provides an up-close look at both old-growth, and second-growth redwood trees and the Calfornia coastal environment in which they thrive.

At its tallest point, the Redwood Sky Walk gently lifts guests 100 ft. above the forest floor as it stretches out over a stunning ravine!
