One of my favorite books to read, when I was little, was Dr. Seuss Green Eggs and Ham. It was my all-time favorite and when my children were small, it was the first book they would grab for me to read to them. And in honor of Dr. Seuss’ birthday on March 2nd, please enjoy making these fun Green Eggs and Ham Cupcakes.

Ingredients Needed To Make Green Eggs and Ham Cupcakes

  • White Cake mix
  • White Frosting
  • Green ice Cream Cones
  • Green Gumballs
  • Egg Gummies
  • Food Writer Edible Markers (Black & Green)
  • Green Food Coloring

Green Eggs and Ham Cupcakes Instructions

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees.
  •  Make cake mix according to package directions. Fill each ice cream cone 3/4 way up. Place on a cookie sheet and carefully place it in the oven for 23-25 minutes. Remove from oven and set aside to cool.
  • Take the green edible marker and color in the yolk on the egg. Take the black marker and make circle lines on the green gumball to make it look like a “ham”.
  • Color frosting by adding 2-3 drops of food coloring. Place frosting in a piping bag or baggie and snip the corner.
  • Frost each cupcake cone with green frosting. Place on one green egg and one green ham.
  • Ready to serve and enjoy for your Dr. Seuss party
