Picture Perfect

The Big Book of Weekend Reading is perfect for all levels, but most importantly, a beginner. The introduction includes a list of the materials that you will need to get started on any beading project and a picture of what the materials look like. That is one of the greatest features in this book, the pictures, so if you go into a craft store, you know exactly what to get. Also included with the materials, is a description of what the material is, its function, and how to use it.

The detailed step-by-step instructions on how to complete a beading project, is another great feature. I like that it shows what the final project will look like and then how to do it with both words and pictures. The pictures are very up close, large enough for you to see the small details, and clear. This allows you to see exactly what needs to be done and how. The Big Book of Weekend Beading is perfect for visual and non-visual types of people. If you prefer pictures, they are available and numbered to match the steps that are written in the book. If you are not the visual learner, then the directions are carefully written to tell you what you need to do.
