Cola Concerts Is Back With More

Just a quick reminder, Cola Concerts has played host to thousands and thousands of fans at Columbia Speedway Entertainment Center.

Fans that got the chance to enjoy the state-of-the-art concert experience!

This summer you and your family can have the chance to enjoy the experience in your own fashion

There are several upcoming shows that you may be interested in. Below is all the information on these upcoming shows that you need:

  • Dark Star Orchestra (June 5th-6th): Performing to critical acclaim for over 20 years and over 2800 shows, Dark Star Orchestra continues the Grateful Dead live concert experience. Their shows are built off the Dead’s extensive catalog and the talent of these seven fine musicians.
  • Disco Biscuits (June 18th-19th): The Disco Biscuits are an entirely different band today than they were when they first broke out of Philadelphia in the mid-90s. That’s not to say that they’ve abandoned their foundation, switched gears or set sail for distant shores. They still remain rock pioneers whose soul belongs as much to marathon dance parties as it does to live improvisational journeys. They still employ emerging technologies to help them create music that is 100 percent human although, perhaps, not entirely of this earth.

  • Trampled By Turtles (Thursday, June 24th): Trampled by Turtles released their first record, Songs from a Ghost Town, in 2004. In a genre steeped in tradition, the album stood out for its contemporary sound, essentially bridging the gap between the bandmates’ background in rock music and their new acoustic leanings. Blue Sky and the Devil (2005) and Trouble (2007) explored a similar sound, but it wasn’t until 2008 and the band’s fourth release, Duluth, that Trampled by Turtles received recognition by the bluegrass community. Duluth peaked at number eight on the Billboard bluegrass chart and paved the way for a number of festival appearances. In addition to major bluegrass and folk festivals, they began showing up at Coachella, Bumbershoot, and Lollapalooza.
  • Tedeschi Trucks Fireside Live (Saturday, June 26th): After a decade of creative partnership between singer/guitarist Susan Tedeschi and her husband, guitarist Derek Trucks, the GRAMMY-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band carries a distinguished reputation earned from both audiences and critics as one of the premier live bands in the world.
  • Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit (Thursday, September 2nd): Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit is hitting the road in support of their latest album, Reunions. The Grammy winners’ ten new songs delve into relationships with lovers, friends, children, parents, and one’s self. There are rousing anthems that will have stadiums singing along, lyrical standouts that highlight some of Isbell’s best writing to date, moving looks at youth and childhood, a deep dive into the challenges of relationships, and deeply personal songs about alcoholism and parenthood.

This summer you are going to have plenty of entertainment to look forward to for you and the entire family!
