Canned goods are already cheap. You can find canned veggies for under a dollar every day. Pair it with a sale and you’ve got an even better deal. If you’re looking for soup and other specialized canned goods, look for seasonal sales and discounts.

Who doesn’t love a good snack? I love to have snacks around the house when I’m watching movies or TV at home on my off day. If you love them too, note that. Chips, cookies, and other snacks frequently have coupons and in-store discounts that make full-price a no-go.

Store promotions, particularly those around holidays and back-to-school periods, routinely feature frozen veggies. I find the best deals when retailers offer 10 frozen vegetable items for the price of 10.
