Many women experience this pregnancy symptom through their first trimester, but it may last longer. To find relief try eating a bland diet like the BRAT diet. According to the Cleveland Clinic, this diet consists of bananas, rice, apples, and toast. During the first trimester your baby isn’t getting nutrition from you yet, so just make sure to stay hydrated and take your prenatal vitamins if you’re having a hard time keeping down food. You can also try natural remedies like ginger and peppermint to ease nausea. If morning sickness is affecting you, talk to your doctor about nausea medication. There are safe medications you can try, and you don’t have to suffer.

2. Acid Reflux and Heartburn

According to the Cleveland Clinic, acid reflux and heartburn are common pregnancy symptoms. One way to help with acid reflux is to eat dairy like a glass of milk. This will help coat your stomach and throat. According to the FDA, some medications like Pepcid are safe during pregnancy.
