Why You Should Wear Your Skinny Jeans With Pride

Isn’t it funny how some of the oldies but goodies keep on coming around again? The eighties’ look has been reborn several times in the last decade, but the latest revival has put a great twist on some of the oldest favorites to bring some trendy new looks. Hair has been big for a while, and the earrings keep getting bigger. But what really counts on our bodies are the clothes. Of course, shoulder pads were never going to make a great comeback, but some of the best bits that have been regurgitated from that great era have never been better.

Short jackets, big sunglasses, and skinny jeans have had their time over and again. They work year on year and now, it would seem, decade to decade. All it takes is for you to buy low rise jeans in Australia. Skinny jeans in particular have stood the test of time. Their longevity appears to be thanks to developments in fabric technology. Let’s face it, the eighties were not quite as full-bodied as this century has become. We are all a little bigger than we were. But skinny jeans in a range of new cotton and denim fabrics can fit almost any leg, hip, and waist.

If you are looking for that timeless look, get some great heels and wear your skinny jeans with pride. Some of us may need to avoid the short bomber jacket and plump for something longer in the top. However you wear your skinny jeans, wearing them with heels will define your legs beautifully and help you walk head up. A wide range of denim wash looks are pretty big in skinny jeans right now, so shop around and find the right style for you.

If you are looking to brave the skinny jean for the first time, there are some things you need to look for. A true skinny jean is made from denim and is not merely a printed legging that will wear and thin in the wash. Skinny jeans have a degree of elasticity to fit most sized thighs, but of course, the skinnier legs look hottest. If you have a good stomach, you can pick low rise or ultra-low rise cuts that button up across your hip rather than around the skinniest part of your waist. This is particularly handy if you are more pear shaped because your waist will be smaller than the size of pant you need to fit your bottom half.

Wearing skinny jeans with pumps and flats looks great, but some ankle boots look good too. Your leg or thigh shape may determine the best footwear to flatter your jeans and your figure. Skinny jeans may be considered casual wear, but they can look ultra glam with the right footwear, top, and handbag accessories. Most importantly, a good skinny jean should make your backside look fabulous, so think about daring with a shorter top or jacket.

Take your cues from your jeans… If when you sit down the waistband is moving to reveal more than is appropriate, you either have the wrong size or the wrong cut. We spend most of our days sitting, so the true test is on the seat. Also check the material is high enough quality it won’t stretch and go baggy in the knees or bottom areas.
