Considering Cutting The Cord? Read This!

Growing up, we didn’t have satellite or cable television.  We had a plain antenna and really didn’t have much to choose from in terms of television channels.  And, the channels we did have weren’t always the best of quality, especially if they weren’t main network channels.  Now, we have paid television service, which is quite expensive for us.  We’ve been thinking about cutting the cord and switching to a less expensive mode of television viewing.  I was a little worried what that would mean.  Are we going to have hardly anything to watch?  Will it be just news and soap operas?

Mohu Presents The Arc Antenna As A

Cord-Cutting Solution

Then I was introduced to Mohu and the Arc, an indoor, curved, HDTV antenna. Mohu is a cord-cutting company, which provides antennas that are high quality and can save you money in the long run.  The Arc Antenna has a reception range of up to 40 miles. Mohu also has other antennas with higher reception ranges; it just depends on your needs.  The Arc Antenna was very easy to set up within minutes.  Then it took a few minutes for our television to scan for channels.  That was it.

I am amazed with the results.  We found over 60 channels, most of which came through crystal clear. This may not, however, be the same result for you; it will depend on where you live and what is available. But, I have to say I’m impressed and am no longer worried about cutting the cord from traditional cable television. I am confident we’ll have plenty to watch between what I can find with the Mohu Arc Antenna and probably 1 subscription movie service. With the Mohu Arc alone, there is something for everyone in my family to watch. I, myself, could probably live on just PBS (I’m a big “Call of the Midwife” and “Downton Abbey” fan). In the image below, don’t mind the captioning (I don’t hear well, so I always turn on closed captioning). But, I did want you to see the clarity for yourself.

Additional Features Of The Arc

According to Mohu, the Arc also has the following features:

  • Has a multidirectional range.
  • “Captures clear broadcast signals within its 30-mile radius.”
  • Involves a plug-and-play setup.
  • Is compatible with HDTV units so you can “enjoy the full quality of Full HD and Ultra HD over-the-air programs.”
  • Is sold at Best Buy.
  • Comes in black or white.

If you are considering cutting the cord, I highly recommend trying Mohu’s antennas.  We are very happy with ours, especially because I get to keep PBS!  Thank you, Mohu!
